You will enjoy unlimited access to the Members' facilities at Eagle Farm Racecourse, which is the headquarters of thoroughbred racing in Queensland. You will also have the opportunity to attend various special functions including reciprocal arrangements with other Clubs. As well as your Members' badge you also receive a second badge that enables you to bring a guest. how can I join?Candidates for Membership must be proposed and seconded by Full Members of at least five years standing. However, persons who do not know any Full Members should contact the Club on 3268 2171 or info@qtc.org. there are two membership options
what is junior membership?Persons aged 24 years or less may join the Club as Junior Members. Restricted Members have the same badge and admission entitlements as Full Members. The key differences are that:
Junior Members can upgrade to Full membership at any time by paying the Entrance Fee that is due. I am aged less than 24 years. Can I join as a Full Member?Yes. Full Membership is open to persons aged 18 years and over. I am aged 25 years or more. Can I join as a Junior Member?No. This category is restricted to persons aged between 18 - 24 years only. are there any joining benefits for family of Members?Persons who are the spouse, son daughter, grandson or grandaughter of a current Full Member of at least ten years continuous Membership are entitled to a 50% reduction in the Entrance Fee. fees
* Fifty percent discount if joining after 31st December reciprocal arrangementsThe Queensland Turf Club has reciprocal arrangements with all major metropolitan race clubs. These arrangements vary from Club to Club. Some Clubs do not offer benefits to Restricted Members. It is best to confer with each individual Club regarding the reciprocal arrangements they offer. are there any limitations on the use of the Guest badge?On major days the Guest badge gains admission to the course and John Power Stand Members' Reserve, but not to the Members Only Bar. |
